Lobini was an automotive manufacturing company based in Brazil that was founded in 1999 and was closed in 2011. Lobini was founded by Fabio Birolini and Jose Orlando Lobo and it was headquartered in Sao Paul. The company got instant fame after launching the Lobini H1 which was a high-performance sports car featuring fiberglass body and Audi engine. The body of the car was manufactured by Chamonix. The aim of the founders was to create a sports car that could compete with the world’s best high-performance vehicles having latest technology. It company started collaborating with Lotus to get technical assistance and the vehicles became a hit in ‘Salao do Automovel 2002’. This made international news and few Lobini vehicles were exported to England. Lobini was acquired by Branx Automotive in 2006 and it launched a newer version of Lobini and was exhibited at Salao do Automovel 2006. This version was priced at $90,000 and had a lot of features.
