This is the Spirra logo. The logo has an upside down 70% complete triangle. This shape is designed in black color with white color filling. The incompletion is of the shape is caused by a tiger’s head that is designed inside the shape in black color. The tiger’s face is facing left and has fierce appearance since it has a wide open mouth with sharp teeth. The tiger’s mane is causing the incompletion of the shape which has pointy black spikes. Below these elements is the name of the company designed in black with all uppercase letters using customized Gwenda Times Medium Expanded OTF 500 font type. The addition of the tiger in the logo is because South Korea’s national animal is the Siberian Tiger. This animal in the South Korean culture is associated with power, strength, and a spiritual being to ward off evil spirits.
Spirra: Company Overview
Spirra is a sports car manufactured and owned by Oullim Motors. Its production started from 2008 by ceased in 2017 and the vehicle was assembled in Kyunggi-do Province. The company’s is headquartered in Seoul and it was founded by Dong-Hyuk Park who was the founder of Oullim Networks and Han-Chul Kim who was the ex-designer of Ssangyong Motors. This sports car became instantly famous and was sold in different parts of the world including Netherlands, Malaysia, UAE, and China. The founder put the concept of the car in the 1990s but was able to establish an automotive company ‘Proto Motors’ which was acquired in Oullim. The designing of the Spirra was also assisted by Han-Chul’s wife who was a researcher at Asia Motors. Spirra was first named as PS-II and was displayed at the 2000 Seoul Motor Show and it was renamed to Spirra in 2004 before being displayed at the Beijing Motor Show.
