About Adidas
Adidas is a German multinational corporation that manufactures and designs shoes, accessories, and clothing. Its headquarters are in Herzogenaurach, Bavaria. It is the second-largest footwear corporation in the world after Nike. It was founded in July 1924 by Adolf Dassler. According to stats done in 2018, the company generated a revenue of almost 22 billion dollars. Adidas has more than 57000 employees working around the world.
Adolf Adi Dassler used to make shoes in his mother’s laundry room after returning from World War 1. In July 1924, Adolf’s brother Rudolf joined the business and named it Gebruder Dassler Schuhfabrik (Dassler Brothers Shoe Factory in English). The brothers used to pedal to produce power to make shoes due to the shortage of electricity.

In this year, the logo is a pair of spiked shoes and above it, ADOLF DASSLER is written in in-curve. The shoe is between extended tails of D and the rest of the letters are in a small case and below it, SPORTSCHUHE is written.

In this year, the logo completely changed. The logo seems like a trefoil and it has three stripes on it and Adidas is written under it.

In this year, the trefoil was gone and what seems like a small hill growing from left to right with thick stripes and below it Adidas is written. the dot of I is connected with the center stripe.

In this year, the logo is now a circle and has the same three strips and Adidas is written under it.

This is the final year of modification and now there are just three lines on top of each other with equal distance and on its right Adidas is written.

In the first year, the logo font was customized. In the second year, bold Calibri Body font was used. For the rest of the years, thick black bold ITC Avant Garde font was used.
