Aixam-Mega is a French car manufacturer headquartered in Aix-les-Bains, Savoie, which specializes in producing microcars. The company was established in 1983 after acquiring Arola and started making microcars. On April 11, 2013, the American company Polaris Industries announced its acquisition of Aixam-Mega from its previous owners, Axa Private Equity.

The company’s roots can be traced back to Arola, which was founded in 1975. Aixam acquired Arola in 1983 when it was in administration. Aixam launched its new 325D model in 1984, followed by the 400D in 1985.
