About Albuquerque Isotopes

The Albuquerque Isotopes, a Minor League Baseball team affiliated with the Colorado Rockies, compete in the Pacific Coast League at the Triple-A level. Their home games take place at Rio Grande Credit Union Field at Isotopes Park, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Situated at an elevation of 5,100 feet (1,555 m) above sea level, the park offers a unique playing environment. In 2003, the team made its debut in Albuquerque after the Calgary Cannons relocated from Alberta. They joined the Pacific Coast League and initially had an affiliation with the Florida Marlins until 2008. From 2009 to 2014, the Isotopes became affiliated with the Los Angeles Dodgers. Following Major League Baseball's reorganization of Minor League Baseball in 2021, the Isotopes became part of the Triple-A West, which was later renamed the Pacific Coast League in 2022.
