About Buchanan’s
Buchanan’s is a Scotch Whisky that is owned by Diageo. It is produced in Scotland. Buchanan’s was founded in 1879 by James Buchanan. Buchanan was born in Canada but their parents were Scottish immigrants who went back to the UK.
James joined his brother’s grain business in 1868 and in 1879, James moved to London and realized that the whisky business is very much profitable and that is when he started making his own whisky and named it Buchanan Blend and renamed it James Buchanan & Co. in 1884.

You will be surprised to know that this blend was loved so much that James got a Royal Warrant which means he had to supply alcohol to the Royal House. The logo of Buchanan’s never changed. Buchanan’s alcohol was loved by Queen Victoria and the Prince of Wales. The company got 2 golds in 2005 and in 2010 in the international competition of San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Most of the text is italicized and, in the flower-styled font.
