The Elizabethton Twins, a Minor League Baseball team, belonged to the Appalachian League as a Rookie-level affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. Located in Elizabethton, Tennessee, the team derived its name from its major league affiliate. Their home games took place at Northeast Community Credit Union Ballpark, which was established in 1974. Throughout their impressive 46-year history, the Twins participated in 3,113 regular season games, accumulating a record of 1,779 wins, 1,333 losses, and 1 tie. They had a strong presence in the postseason, qualifying 19 times and clinching 16 division titles and 12 Appalachian League championships.
