About Florida Fire Frogs
From 2017 to 2020, the Florida Fire Frogs operated as a Minor League Baseball team in the Florida State League. They were situated in North Port, Florida, and served as the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.
Established in 2017, the Fire Frogs hosted their home games at Osceola County Stadium in Kissimmee, Florida, which is located within the Greater Orlando metropolitan area, until 2019. Originally, they were scheduled to start playing at CoolToday Park in North Port in 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was canceled. Following Major League Baseball's reorganization of Minor League Baseball in 2021, the Fire Frogs ceased operations.
