Geek Squad is also called Geek Squad Inc. is a subsidiary of Canadian and American multinational consumer electronics corporation Best Buy. It was founded on 16th June, 1994 by Robert Stephens. Its headquarters is in Minnesota, United States. Its officially operates in Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico and United States.
The company employs 20,000 people. The company merged with Best Buy in 2002. Geek Squad provides sells their products online and in their physical stores. You can see Geek Squad in most of the Best Buy stores. The company provides electronic repair services over the phone, at home, and in-store.
Meaning and History of Geek Squad Logo
Best Buy and Geek Squad signed a business joint venture based on 50-50 terms with an England-based Carphone Warehouse and the company repair phones. In 2008, Best Buy made a deal with SupportSpace to handle Geek Squad’s customers but by 2013, Geek Squad made a team of their own in-house support team and agents. Geek Squad changed its logo twice in the following years.

In the orangish part, Geek is written and in the black part, Squad is written. Both the initials of the words are capitalized and the rest of the letters are in small case.

This year, the logo is now a perfect oval with a grey outline and black filling. Geek is written on top of Squad. TM is superscripted after the squad. The letters of Squad are capitalized and it is written in orangish rusty color.
