Previously known as Google Wallet, Google+ was a peer-to-peer payments service developed by Google. It enabled users to conveniently send and receive money using their mobile devices or desktop computers. In 2018, Google merged Android Pay and Google Wallet into a unified payment system called Google Pay. As part of this transition, the old Wallet app was rebranded as Google+. However, even Google+ was eventually discontinued in 2020, as Google streamlined its payment services.
