The Husqvarna Company is one of the biggest companies in Sweden. It is also the oldest and produces the widest variety of products. Founded in 1689, Husqvarna was initially designed to serve the needs of the royal court. Today, the company employs more than 14000 people worldwide and boasts SEK 414 million in revenues. The company is also known for its innovative spirit and commitment to innovation.
The Husqvarna Group was founded in 1903. Founder Gustav Husqvarna began his career making bicycles. The company’s first motorcycles came out in 1957 and were very popular for motocross competitions. In the 1960s, the company started producing motorized bicycles, which were a huge success. In the early 20th century, Husqvarna began to produce motorcycles, albeit with no motors.
The company’s first motorcycle was a motocross machine. The Husqvarna 400 Cross was made famous by Steve McQueen and was one of the most popular bikes of the 1970s. In 1986, Husqvarna sold its motorcycle division to an Austrian company. Throughout the twentieth century, the company made some of the most successful European motorcycles. However, this year, the company is facing a tough financial time.
In addition to making power-driven motorcycles, Husqvarna also manufactures electric and battery-powered equipment. In addition to chainsaws, it also produces a variety of logging equipment, such as chainsaws and loggers. In the 1620s, the company began making guns but didn’t disappear until the 1850s, when the country was constantly at war. It had five rifle factories in Jonkoping.
About Husqvarna Logo
The iconic emblem that all of us know today was first introduced in 1974. Designed by Hornaz Kapadia, the rounded square was outlined in a thick navy blue border with three short smooth lines coming out of its upper part. The lines had their angles cut and cuts slightly arched. Inside the badge, a simple but bold H was drawn using the same color blue, and a wordmark was written above the emblem. It was executed in a lightweight sans-serif typeface with only the H capitalized.
