About LIC
LIC is the abbreviation of Life Insurance Corporation of India. It provides financial services in terms of different types of insurance. It was founded in September 1956 and it is owned by the Ministry of Finance Government of India. Its chairperson is M. R. Kumar and managing director is B. C. Patnaik.
Its products are mutual funds, investment management, health insurance, and life insurance. Its headquarters is in Mumbai and as of 2021, the corporation made revenue of 91 billion dollars. It has 114,000 employees working all across India.

LIC building was said to be the tallest one in the whole of India in 1959. LIC has 8 zonal offices in India. The actual sells of LIC increased in 2000 by %24.53. According to The Economic Times Brand Equity Survey of 2012, LIC is the 6th most trusted in India. LIC never changed its logo.
Evolution of LIC Logo
In 2011 and 2014, LIC was again voted for the most trusted brand by Brand Trust Report in the BFSI category. In 2006, LIC established The LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship for the purpose charity. The aim of the establishment was to give better lifestyle to the unfortunate one, lessening poverty and promoting education.
The LIC logo has two squares; one is of blue color and has a white oval in vertical shape. In this oval, there is a light lamp and there are two hands covering it. Below these hands, there is a text written in white color in Hindi.
The second square has a yellow square and LIC is written in blue color. Below these two squares, there is text in blue color in Hindi and below it, there is a text that says ‘LIFE INSURANCE CORPORATION OF INDIA’ and all of this text is in blue color.
