About Luke Cage
Marvel’s Luke Cage is a television series in the United States created by Cheo Hodari Coker for the streaming platform Netflix. It is based on the Marvel Comics character Luke Cage and is set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), connecting to the events of the franchise’s films.
Serving as the third Marvel Netflix series, it eventually led to the crossover miniseries The Defenders. The show was produced by Marvel Television in collaboration with ABC Studios, with Coker taking on the role of showrunner.
