About MDRT
MDRT is the abbreviation of Million Dollar Round Table. It is a trade association which was formed in 1927. It was formed to help financial advisors and insurance brokers establish top-notch business practices and develop ethical and effective ways to boost clients’ interests in different financial services and products.
The association also taught them to learn about the risks of different products like long-term care, disability, and life insurance. The association now has 39000 members in 82 countries. This association was formed by 32 famous insurance agents who met in Memphis, Tennessee.

The group of 32 insurance agents was famous because all of them had sold insurance worth more than $1,000,000. The group decided to help each other out when it came to enhancing their selling skills and abilities along with technical skills. This was done to be seen more in the insurance industry. In 1927, another meeting was done to make MDRT. MDRT never changed its logo.
Evolution of the MDRT Logo
MDRT’s main aim was to share new ideas and discoveries about the insurance industry and teach basic ethical values. It then ended with improving business practices as well. MDRT conducts several meetings throughout the year and every member of the group is invited. Each year, this meeting is attended by more than 10,000 guests from around the world and most of these meetings are held in Asia and North America.
MDRT logo has a circular shape that consists of half icons of chairs on a table. Each chair has a shield of black and white color. Below it, MDRT is written in black color, and below it, ‘The Premier Association of’ is written on top ‘Financial Professionals’.
