About Mississippi Braves

Based in Pearl, Mississippi, a suburb of Jackson, the Mississippi Braves, also known as the M-Braves, represent a Minor League Baseball team. They hold the distinction of being the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves and compete within the Southern League. The team is owned and operated by Endeavor, who acquired the Braves from Liberty Media in 2022. The origins of the Mississippi Braves date back to 2005 when the Southern League's Greenville Braves relocated to Pearl. This move took place due to the inadequate condition of Greenville Municipal Stadium in Greenville, South Carolina, as well as the failure to reach an agreement with the Greenville County council for the construction of a new ballpark.
