About Multan Sultans

Multan Sultans is a professional Twenty20 cricket franchise from Pakistan that represents the city of Multan in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The team was established in 2017 as an additional sixth team to be included in the PSL. Their home matches are played at the Multan Cricket Stadium. Following their debut season, the team's ownership faced a change in 2017 when Schön Properties, the initial owners, failed to pay their annual fee, resulting in the termination of their contract In December 2018, a consortium led by Alamgir Khan Tareen, who held the majority share, along with Ali Khan Tareen, took over as the new owners of the team. In 2021, Alamgir Khan Tareen became the sole owner of the franchise.
