Meaning and History of Nagad Logo
Nagad has given a hard time to bkash which is also a Bangladeshi based electronic money transfer. Its headquarters is in Dhaka. The concept of Nagad was put forward by the Third Wave Technology and an agreement was made by the company and Bangladesh Post Office. Nagad changed its logo three times in the following years.
Evolution of Nagad Logo
The agreement between Bangladesh Post Office and Third Wave Technologies was over profit sharing even though BPO does not own the company. Since it the app was linked to governmental operations, the profit was then distributed between the two parties. Nagad changed its logo in the following ways.
2019
This year, the logo had a two-layered red half circle and is completed by a customized banner. In the banner, text is written in red color in Bangladeshi language. In the circle, there is text in red color and there is a red human figure facing left caring a lantern and a staff with a sharp and pointy end. The human figure seems be to carrying a post card bag on the back.
2020
In this year, the human figure is now in a customized circle made of 4 different shapes. On its right, there is text written in two columns in red and black color.
2021
In this year, the circle is given a 3D look and below it, there is text in red color which we think is the name of the company.
Building of Nagad Logo
Third Wave Technologies changed its name to Nagad. BPO owns 51% shares of Nagad and now the authorities are trying to connect the platform with central bank of the country. Nagad logo is based on the following things.
Colors
In the first year, only red and white colors were used. In the second year, orange, red and black colors were used. Last year, only red and orange colors are used.

In all the years, the fonts are completely customized.
