Nike is ranked 89th number in 500 fortune companies. Nike’s old name was Blue Ribbon Sports and it was founded by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight on 25th January 1964. In the first year, Blue Ribbon Sports sold 1300 pairs of shoes. After the shoes became popular, they also launched socks.

In this year, the logo changed. Now, there is a left-facing tick and Nike is written in small case letters in the center of the tick. N and I were joined and K and E were joined as well. I and K were not joined.

This year, the tick is now in black color and Nike is now capitalized and is on top of the tick. The E’s bottom in joining the tick.
