About Punjab Kings

The Punjab Kings (PBKS) is a cricket franchise team based in Mohali, Punjab, participating in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Initially established in 2008 as the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), the franchise is jointly owned by Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta, and Karan Paul. The team hosts its home matches at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. Since 2010, they have also played some of their home games in either Dharamsala or Indore. With the exception of the 2014 season, where they topped the league table and finished as runners-up, the team has only managed to make one other playoff appearance in its 13 seasons.
