About Sabritas
Sabritas is a snack company based in Mexico. They manufacture chips. The company was founded in 1943 and it is a subsidiary of PepsiCo. It was founded by Pedro Antonio Marcos Noriega. It was previously known as Golosinas Y Productos Selectos.
The company produces corn chips, solid potato chips, and other snacks. It initially sold its product by sending salespeople on bicycles as they didn’t have a distributor in the beginning. The company changed its name to Sabrosas Y Fritas which means Tasty and Fried or Fried Ones in Spanish.
Meaning and History of Sabritas Logo
The company became Frito-Lay with Pepsi Company and together they merged to become PepsiCo. The company then became a hit. Sabritas is now under the PepsiCo brand which further made more products including Ruffles, Doritos, Fritos and Cheetos. Sabritas changed its logo twice in the following years.
Note: In 1943 when the company started, there was no logo just; the chips were sold in transparent packets. After some years, in 1950s, the company simply had Sabritas written in white and red on packets.

This year, the yellow ball is gone. The red banner with Sabritas in white is still there. On the right side of the banner, there is a smiley face with eyes, a nose, and a big smile, and the cheeks are blushed with pink color.
