Sabritas is a snack company based in Mexico. They manufacture chips. The company was founded in 1943 and it is a subsidiary of PepsiCo. It was founded by Pedro Antonio Marcos Noriega. It was previously known as Golosinas Y Productos Selectos. The company produces corn chips, solid potato chips, and other snacks. It initially sold its product by sending salespeople on bicycles as they didn’t have a distributor in the beginning. The company changed its name to Sabrosas Y Fritas which means Tasty and Fried or Fried Ones in Spanish.

The company became Frito-Lay with Pepsi Company and together they merged to become PepsiCo. The company then became a hit. Sabritas is now under the PepsiCo brand which further made more products including Ruffles, Doritos, Fritos and Cheetos. Sabritas changed its logo twice in the following years.

Note: In 1943 when the company started, there was no logo just; the chips were sold in transparent packets. After some years, in 1950s, the company simply had Sabritas written in white and red on packets.
