About Salt Lake Bees

The Salt Lake Bees, a Minor League Baseball team, compete in the Pacific Coast League (PCL) as the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. Their base is in Salt Lake City, Utah, where they play their home games at Smith's Ballpark. This ballpark, which opened in 1994, boasts a seating capacity of 15,411, making it the largest in their league. Previously, the team operated under different names. From 1994 to 2000, they were known as the Salt Lake Buzz, followed by a transition to the Salt Lake Stingers from 2001 to 2005. However, in 2006, they adopted their current moniker, the Salt Lake Bees. Throughout this period, they have been competing in the PCL, including the 2021 season when the league was referred to as the Triple-A West.
