About Scotland Cricket
Cricket Scotland, previously known as the Scottish Cricket Union, serves as the governing body for cricket in Scotland. The organization is located at the National Cricket Academy in Edinburgh.
Originally established in 1908, the SCU underwent significant changes in 2001, including a rebranding. It gained membership in the International Cricket Council as an Associate nation in 1994. It comprises three sub-associations: the East of Scotland Cricket Association, the Western District Cricket Union, and the Aberdeenshire Cricket Association.
Brian Adair held the positions of president (1983) and chairman (1986) within the organization. In light of a racism investigation within Cricket Scotland, the entire board tendered their resignations on July 24, 2022.
