About Silver Surfer
The Silver Surfer, a fictional character featured in Marvel Comics’ American comic books, has made appearances in several movies, television series, and video games. Created by Jack Kirby, the character made his debut in the pages of Fantastic Four #48 in 1966.
The Silver Surfer is portrayed as a humanoid alien with a metallic skin complexion, equipped with a unique surfboard-like craft that enables interstellar travel. Originally named Norrin Radd, he hailed from the planet Zenn-La and, as a young astronomer, made a fateful decision to become the herald of Galactus, a planet-devouring entity. In exchange, he received a portion of Galactus’ Power Cosmic, gaining immense abilities, a new physical form, and a surfboard-like vessel capable of faster-than-light travel. Now known as the Silver Surfer, he embarked on a cosmic journey, searching for planets for Galactus to consume.
