About St. Lucie Mets

The St. Lucie Mets, affiliated with the New York Mets, represent a Minor League Baseball team competing in the Florida State League. Based in Port St. Lucie, Florida, they host their home games at Clover Park, a recognized venue. Since their establishment in 1988, the Mets have remained part of the Florida State League. Initially classified as Class A, they were later promoted to Class A-Advanced in 1990. As of the 2021 season, the Mets transitioned to being a Low Single-A affiliate. Throughout their history, the St. Lucie Mets have achieved remarkable success, securing the Florida State League championship title on six occasions. Their triumphs came in the years 1988, 1996, 1998, 2003, 2006, and most recently in 2022.
