About Tecno
Tecno is also known as Tecno mobile. It is a Chinese phone manufacturing company. It is based in Shenzhen, China and it was founded in 2006 by George Zhu. Its founder is also George and other than mobile phones, the company also manufactures phone accessories, routers and tablets.
The company made revenue of 1 billion US dollars in 2020. It is a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings and the company’s focuses on different international markets including Eastern European, Latin America, South Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Tecno Mobile’s previous name was Tecno Telecom Limited. The company changed its name was Transsion Holdings and later changed to Tecno Mobile. In 2007, the company created Itel as a second brand and it was heavily sold in Africa. The phone was very much famous by 2010 and in 2016, the company entered in the Middle East market. Tecno changed its logo twice in the following years.
