History of Jawa Logos
Jawa changed its logo 6 times in the following ways and years.
1929

This is the first Jawa log. The logo consists of distinctive design having shapes and text. This logo encompasses the body structure of a motorcycle part; this part is designed to look like a fuel tank or the body where the engine is placed. This design is in orange color and it is overlapped by the name of the company designed in red, with all uppercase letters, suing a customized Ninja Bold font type.
1931

This is the second Jawa logo. The logo consists of a dull golden oval with white color filling. Inside the shape, positioned at the top is the name of the company designed in the same hue, with all uppercase letters, using customized Calibri Body Bold font type. Below this is the shape of what looks like a sharp blade designed to look like a knife – the sharp end is pointing at the bottom of the oval. This sharp knife is surrounded by different sizes of dull golden lines; designed to look like sunrays. These lines have soft and curved edges.
1936

This is the third Jawa logo. The logo is the same like the 1931 Jawa logo – this one is a neater and a cleaner version of the logo. This logo is designed using red and white color combination, the name of the company, the knife-like element, the oval, and the sunrays are designed in red.
1954

This Jawa logo is almost like the 1936 Jawa logo. The red color is deeper and darker and the edges of the lines making the sunrays are softer than before. There is more white space between these lines and the knife element is replaced with different elements. It consists of a red circle with white color filling having a 75% complete inner circle with an uppercase letter ‘Z’. On the right side of the letter is a red dot and the inner incomplete circle’s top has a letter ‘V’ in lowercase. The elements inside the circle represent Czech.
1961

In this year, the company made small changes in their logo. The logo consisted of a smaller oval with the same elements except the ones that represented Czech. Those elements are now replaced with 3-nested circle; the first with a red layer, the second with a white layer, and third again with a red layer with white color filling. The rest of the logo stays the same.
1997

This is the current Jawa logo. This logo has matted colors and is bigger in size. These elements can be seen on the motorcycle’s fuel tanks. The sunrays are slighter closer compared to the rest of Jawa logos and the 3-nested circles have denser red layers.
