It was founded in 1933 and its headquarters is in Norwalk, Connecticut, United States.

1968

            In this year, the logo is a rectangle but 1/3^rd of the rectangle is split buy a line. On the left side of the rectangle, TEREX is written in black with white background and a red crown is placed over it. On the right side of the rectangle, GM is written with an underline in white with red background.

1981

            In this year, the rectangle division is the same but the crown in now green and, on the right side of the rectangle, IBH is written in a rhomb.

1983

            In this year, the crown is now red again and is in a rectangle and outside the rectangle to the right, TEREX is written.

            In the first year, white, red, and black color was used. Then in the second year, white, green and black color was used. In the last year, pink, white and black color was used.
