Inside at the top of the crest, “Gumpert” is designed in black color with all capitalized letters using customized Berlin Sans Fb font. In the shiny red part of the logo, there is a white griffin facing right.
The Gumpert is referred to Roland Gumpert. He was the founder of Gumpert Sportwagenmanufaktur GmbH – this is the company that made Apollo what it is today. Roland was an x-director of Audi Sports and was a genius engineer. He founded his company in 2004.
The griffin was included in the logo to portray dominance, agility, and speed. It also adds a spectrum of distinctiveness. A griffin made the Apollo logo very much memorable.
