Baojun

This is the current Baojun logo. The logo is designed in super-realistic 2D design using white, black, and grey gradients giving a shadow effect. The logo is shaped as a diamond designed with two distinctive elements. This shape also gives sense of a contemporary design of a horse’s head. Below these elements is the name of the company designed in grey with all uppercase letters using customized Vermin Vibes Roundhouse TTF 400 font type.

Baojun: Company Overview

Baojun means ‘Treasured Horse’ in Chinese and the company is a joint venture between SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile. The company was founded in 2010 and its sole purpose was to introduce high-affordable cars in China. The company has competed with known Chinese car manufacturing companies like Trumpchi, Haval, Changan, Geely, and Chery. Baojun launched its first vehicle in 2010 and it was a four-door sedan ‘Baojun 630’. The actual sales of the model started in 2011 via a dealer network. In 2017, the company was able to sell more than 900,000 units in China. Baojun hasn’t announced its models exportation in other parts of the country.
