BeiBen is a commercial vehicle manufacturing company in China that was founded in 1988 by China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO) and the company is currently headquartered in Inner Mongolia. The company did a joint venture with Daimler-Benz to manufacture Mercedes-Benz trucks and by 2010, the company was manufacturing more than 40,000 trucks. BeiBen built an axle factory and it produced axles for Mercedes-Benz’s heavy-duty trucks. These axles also got famous in South Africa, South America, Indonesia, and Malaysia due to its capacity to carry heavy loads, durability, and robustness. These axles are now used by different truck manufacturing companies in China. By 2012, BeiBen expanded its production line in Pakistan, Ethiopia, and South Africa.
