Below this is again the name of the company ‘GAC Changfeng Motor’ designed in black with all uppercase letters using Vipnagorgialla Semi Bold font type. The mountain in the logo represents off-roading capabilities, robustness, and hardiness.
Changfeng: Company Overview
GAC Changfeng Motor Co LTD is an automotive manufacturing company in China which is now owned by GAC Group and is currently headquartered in Hunan. This startup was founded in 1950. It started as a part of People’s Liberation Army as a factory for manufacturing military equipment to repairing small facility. The company’s production of SUV started in 1988 and in 1996, the name of the company changed to Changfeng Auto Manufacturing. Changfeng also built the Mitsubishi Pajero since 1995 and it produced light trucks. The company’s name was again changed in 2009 to GAC Changfeng Motor Co LTD due to the acquisition by GAC. The Mitsubishi Pajero units were launched as Liebao (which means cheetah in Chinese) and it was rebranded to Leopaard. Two more variants of Mitsubishi pickups were launched Flying and Fine. One of its short-lived model was Kylin which was displayed at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show.
