This is the third FAW logo. This logo is a 2D variant of the 1988 FAW logo. The logo is a 4 nested oval. The first is a very thin light metallic grey line and followed by a thick blue line. The third is a thick light grey layer and the last layer has blue color filling. The lines and the number elements remain the same except this logo has a black shadow on the shapes and number. The logo has a black and white gradient in the logo.
2022
This is the current FAW logo. The logo has a single layer of blue oval with white color filling and the lines and numeric elements in the center. FAW is an automotive manufacturing company based in China that was founded in 1953 by the Chinese government and is headquartered in Jilin. It is the second-largest car manufacturing company listed in the Big Four list and other than producing vehicles, the company manufactures automotive parts and components. The company was assisted by the Soviet Russia and provided aid in machinery production, tooling, and technical support. All the operations of FAW were done under the supervision of the Soviet Russia. The company initially manufactured trucks but also manufactured the country’s first domestically produced passenger car and luxury sedans in 1958. These vehicles were manufactured for the elite and government officials of China. Even though the company was founded in 1953, its official logo was introduced in 1964 and was seen on the vehicle’s grille.
