This is the Foton logo. The logo has metallic silver circle with white color filling. The center of the circle has 3 different sizes of squares in metallic silver-grey color and is designed from left to right in ascending order. Some suggest that it is a customized shape of a letter ‘F’ but we reckon it could mean the company’s commitment to innovation, progress, and growth. On its right is the name of the company designed in blue with all uppercase letters using customized Planet Opti font type. The top left edge of the letter ‘N’ is slightly pointy. The circle and its elements can be seen on Foton vehicle’s grille.

Foton is also known as Beiqi Foton Motor Co, LTD. It is an automotive manufacturing company based in China founded in 1996 by BAIC Group and it is headquartered in Beijing. The company also produces different kinds of agricultural tractors and related machinery. The company started building cars ‘Foton View’ and ‘Foton Alpha’, these vehicles were inspired from the Toyota HiAce H100. The first truck of the company was launched in 2002; Foton Auman Truck. Foton made 50:50 joint venture with Cummins and got enabled to produce light-duty diesel engines and in 2011, the company made its first sales office in India.
